The Annual General Meeting is approaching for the Curtin Economics Society. We will cover the events and occassions of 2023 and our future prospects. We will also be electing students to open vacancies on the exectuive comittee. However you don't need to join the executive committee to participate. If you just want to be a casual member or learn more about our club you are more than welcome to attend The entirety of the AGM will be held online via Zoom. Interested in a career at the Reserve Bank of Australia. Join us for this presenation given by Dr Kim Nguyen on her experiences with the RBA. There will be light snacks and drinks provided.  Kim Nguyen is a Research Economist specialising in labour markets, household and business finance. She is a member of the Micro Analysis and Data (MAD) team. Kim's research focuses on exploring the impact of micro-level heterogeneity and the distributional effects of macroeconomic shocks, with a special interest in employing data science techniques. Kim holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Sydney.  

We are having our End Of Year Sundowner at The Tav on the 27th of October from 5-7pm to celebrate all the good times CES has had this year!!
